Identity CrisisIt’s time for me to be completely honest. I am an 18-year-old female, from a nice town in the middle of Rhode Island. What tends to happen in such a scenario of middle-class plainness is actually very unpleasant- through most of my life, I was considered white. Just a Caucasian female, with no “color” to her skin. I understand the situation, however- my city was primarily white, and most ethnic groups did not mix. (Not out of hatred or discrimination, but it simply did not happen yet.)
